This is a photo had taken of Jimmy Lyon (Eddie Money) at Day on the Green #1, Oakland Ca. May 6th 1979. Other bands on the billing that day were The Rockets, Sammy Hagar, Boston as the headliner.
This was another great historic Day on the Green concert that Bill Graham had thrown, back in 1979. This one is quite special, because I was let into the venue few minutes prior to 90,000 or more people. Filmed being the first person on the green, running up to the front center of stage, prior to thousands running down the isles, on to the green afterward.
